S Planner won't give notifications. What am I doing wrong?

[AC Question]

I recently upgraded from a Galaxy Ace to a Core. Great phone, but for some reason I am not getting event notifications on S PLanner I have it set both to ring and vibrate and to give Pop-Up Notifications. I also have my time zone locked (not that it should be an issue).

Still, when I create an event, it's saved in the calendar but I get neither a warning nor a notification.

What did I miss here?

I have recently (today asked the same question....I really had hoped that someone could help. mine just stopped working.

Anybody out there have a clue as to why this has happened?
