Thinking of switching from my iPhone to a Droid.
Wondering how much data the droid eats up.

Apps that download data "eat up" data, apps that don't, don't. The amount of data you use is counted by data sent to your phone from the internet, not data that's on your phone that's being used. The same app will use the same amount of data whether it's running on a Droid, an iPhone or a Windows PC. 10k of email is 10k of email, regardless of which app is downloading it on which device - it "eats" 10k of your data to download it.
