    Hello! Have you tried a different keyboard like SwiftKey? Also, make sure you check your language & input section in the settings menu to see if you need to enable something for voice.

    And look for a key with a little mic above what the key is for. Long-pressing that will give you a menu or voice input, depending on the keyboard. (For instance, with SwiftKey, it's the key to the left of the space bar, which is a comma if you tap it and voice input if you long-press it.)

    go to settings general settings then go to language and input and you should be able to turn on google voice input. I'm using it now.

    I've the same problem from day one, checked settings, and voice input was checked. Finally found the solution on another forum... Long press the "settings" icon on the keyboard, and it will bring up 3 options, one is the microphone. Finally!! What a pain in the **** hand typing has been.
