That support site was for the Google Calendar website on your browser. Is that where you were looking? That's the best way to add the Holiday calendar to your account. Once it's added, it will be available to view in your Calendar app.

1. Open Google Calendar on your computer browser.
2. In the left column, look for "Other Calendars."
3. Click on the little arrowhead pointing down, right next to Other Calendars.
4. Now select Browse Interesting Calendars.
5. Choose the Holiday calendar you want, and click Subscribe.
6. Now click Back to Calendar.
7. You should now see that holiday calendar listed under Other Calendars. Click on it to display it in your calendar.

I must be a dummy. I can't open Google Calendar through CHROME to follow your instructions. All I get are Google search links. I appreciate your help and patience.

Let's back up a minute....are you using the stock calendar for the Note 4? Have you tried the settings for that app?

Install Google Calendar from you the Play Store. Once that is done it'll help sync all holidays to your Samsung calendar as long as you have the options setup
.
