Auto awesome videos are fixed in length which cause some pictures not to show completely before the next picture is displayed. How can I increase the exposure time for each picture or the overall length of the video?

Welcome to Android Central! I don't think you can control it. Auto-Awesome videos are automatically generated by Google, so there's no fine adjustment.

I have the same question. I used to be able to attach additional photos and video clips after the original selection of items were organized into an "awesome" file. I also used to be able to select the number of seconds I wanted to use in order to shorten or lengthen the video clip I used. That feature was especially helpful, because it allowed me to include the part of the video I wanted, at the exact location/part of the video I wanted to use. The "upgrades" took all of that away.
