Why can't I see all the pictures I receive in emails?

Hi there, I'm having a little bit of issue with my email account.

Cant see all the pictures in received emails.Sometimes pictures are not displayed in an email. Any idea what can be done?

You need an app that can handle the format that the picture file is in. If someone sends you a picture you don't have an app for (like an .acc file), you won't see it. Save the picture so you can see what the extension (the letters to the right of the dot) is, and look for an app that can handle that kind of file.

If it happens with files you do have an app for (like jpg files), I'd guess that the person sending the email isn't attaching a picture, but maybe a thumbnail or shortcut.

This only happens when I receive email from the websites( blogs, newsletters ) not from my private contacts.
I dont get it,

That could be due to the fact that they're sending you the email in HTML format - which is an abomination IMO. When you sign up for those emails (and if you can go to the sites and make a change to the ones you're already signed up with), change it to text emails.
