Why won't my Galaxy Note II turn on?

Galaxy Note II Won't Turn On

My phone started showing the "SAMSUNG Galaxy Note II GT-N7100" screen last night, which lasted till morning (despite my several attempts to take of the battery etc.) until it finally turned black. I've tried charging it, hard-resetting it (with the volume up, power, and home button--I held it down for over three minutes for several times now) and nothing seemed to work. What should I do?

If it's working like there's no battery in it when there's a charged battery in it, you can try a Samsung dongle (they're about a buck including shipping on eBay). That will force the phone into download mode and you can flash the stock ROM (look on SamMobile Firmwares).
