clean installation of android on a messed up phone
Is there an equivalent of formatting and reinstalling pc OS when it comes to android phone? I have Prestigio PAP 5300 Duo which is rooted and some system modules have been deleted, so factory restore from recovery console doesn't work (there is no backup either).
I have the zip file with original firm version, but when I try to reinstall it from the recovery console it starts, then installation aborts by itself.
I want to restore the software to its factory condition, any advice would be appreciated.
