Why won't my HTC ONE M8 get passed the Red Verizon screen?

HTC ONE M8 stuck on Red Verizon screen HELP!!!

My phone died while updating and when I charged it and turned it on it will not get past the red Verizon screen Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forums. I would suggest taking it in to Verizon and see if they can do anything with it. They are probably going to have to reflash the stock ROM.

Ugh. You weren't plugged into a charger during the update? Typically, there's a warning before the update that you need to make sure the phone doesn't shut off during the update, because that can royally brick the device.

You could, but I would honestly suggest taking it in and having them do it.
