Why is my device not booting into the rom when I reboot?

This issue has been going on for a few weeks, my S4 I9505 consistently messes up the boot process allowing the device to just shut itself off. The only solution to this is to actually wait and then boot it up. I have been using cyanogenmod and carbonrom but this problem seems to persist. It may be the xposed files, or something else I don't know :/

Can you guys tell me what's going on and if you do, a solution would be great!

i just did a full wipe and nothing.
