I own the Samsung Galaxy Ace and it's not responding. I try to turn it on and it freezes at the intro message. Is there any way I could get my contacts? please tell me your thoughts, thank you.

Welcome to Android Central! Were your contacts associated with your Google account or the Phone account? If it was with the Google account, then it's no problem--they're safe in the cloud, and you can sync them easily to any new device by simply logging in with your Google account. This is why it is strongly recommended to do it this way.

If the contacts were associated with the Phone account, then you won't be able to recover them unless you remembered to back them up at some point, or synced them using some kind of 3rd party program (like Samsung Kies).
