How do i get my downloads folder back?

I accidentally deleted the "Downloads" folder in the Gallery stock app on my Note 3. Now when I go to save pictures from external apps they are only shown a preview then only saved in "my Files". How do i make it so they automatically save to this Downloads folder app again?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean that you deleted the "Downloads" app, or that you deleted the directory /storage/sdcard0/download? Are you rooted? You wouldn't be able to delete the Downloads app unless you were rooted, since it's a system app.

The directory. i want all my photos to save to my gallery when i long hold and click save image. not rooted but i have file manager downloaded.

Have you tried re-creating the directory /storage/sdcard0/download?
