i know titanium is supposed to be best but for unrooted devices what is best, i got a new phone and google tried restoring all my previous apps but i stopped it as i wasn't sure if it also restores app data, does it? is helium the best app for doing this or is there better options?

After a few years of experimenting, I use Helium for the data and App Backup & Restore to back up the apps themselves (to .apk files).

I've swapped ROMs and had no problems restoring data. Even not rooted, if there's a Windows computer available, you can use Helium.

If there is something better (and not more expensive), I'd sure like to hear about it.
