Why do my text in emails on Gmail disappear almost immediately since I updated today?

text in emails on gmail disappear almost immediately since update today. ideas?

today's gmail update resulted in the text of the emails showing for a millisecond and then disappearing. anybody have a solution?

Just another software mystery malfunction. Settings-Applications-Gmail. First, try clearing the cache. If no luck, try powering down and restarting the phone. Then try clearing the data (everything will go away, but since your google account is on the google servers, the contents will repopulate in a few minutes when you sign in again, although you will have to choose your settings again).
