Either you have a virus in your phone, or it's a popup of some sort. I opened tmz.com in both my desktop and my Note 3 and nothing popped up.

You DO have an antivirus program running in your phone, right?

Hi there,

I have exactly the same problem and I have an antivirus software installed. I imagine that somewhere in the phone there is a [inappropriate language edited by Moderator] program which redirects me everytime I'm on a webpage to a spam webpage designed specifically for android users. the domain affiliated is system.androldupdate.com (it's a l instead of a i).

I don't know where it came from since the last thing I installed on my machine was the Podio app and I don't fiddle around weird webpages...

Basically I don't know how to remove that without restoring factory defaults...

Well, I helped myself there !
I went to my app settings, then chrome. I clicked on delete app's data.
Then I clicked on uninstall updates to factory reset chrome.
I rebooted my phone.

Problem... solved!

Looks like an Ad Network has been compromised. I didnt load it but it sure crashed my phone good. I think it came in on a NBC ad link.
