I just purchased an HTC 816 which comes with 8GB internal memory. When I download an app and move it to the SD card, it only moves part of it. The majority of the app remains on internal memory. Am I missing something here? I'd love to be able to have more than a handful of apps on my phone, as I have an 8GB card in the external slot that's just going to waste.

    Thanks for the replies!

How much can be moved is up to the developer, but I don't think they can have everything be moved to the external card.

The card isn't going to waste, you're just not using it for what it was designed to be used for - the storage of data. It was never designed to be used for running apps from.
