You can try a second router that can act as a repeater.

If you need an increase in only one direction, a coffee can antenna will do it, or you can buy a Cantenna Wifi Antennas | WiFi Antenna Booster

If you need an increase in all directions, there are vertical antennas that will increase the range - the more the gain of the antenna, the larger the range.

If you're trying to cover a dead spot in a house, Golfdriver's way is better - a repeater (not all routers have a repeat mode, but any that can take dd-wrt Router Database | www.dd-wrt.com can be used as repeaters. Or you can wire two routers together (read Wired Bridge with two WAPs using the same SSID).
