Can I power on my device using PC?

Hello,
Yet another case of the power button no longer working (for my Samsung Galaxy Note 2). Is there a way to power on my phone connected to my PC via USB? Like some kind of command from Android SDK (never even explored this so excuse me if this is simple)?

Tried all of the other tricks I saw and they didn't work — removing the battery and quickly reinserting after removing the charge cable, etc.

Welcome to Android Central! The last time I looked this up, there was no way to do that. You'll probably just have to get the button replaced.
