    Hi Everyone,

I use two personal Google accounts. One I use only for personal and professional reasons while I use the other one for hundreds of apps and services out there which want to mine my personal data for selling it to advertisers. To give an example, I use Google Account "x" for all my email, Keep, Hangouts, Drive etc and I use the Google Account "Y" to log in/ Sign up for hundreds of third party apps and services. Everything works well except one irritating issue. I don't want my Google Account "Y" to appear in Gmail app. I use it only for Google Plus sign ins and Youtube. However, I am unable to remove my Google Account "Y" from the Gmail app without removing the account ENTIRELY from my device. Is it possible to stop my Google Account "Y" from appearing in the Gmail app? Is there any option I am missing? Any solution please?

I am using Nexus 4 with Lollipop 5.0. Thanks for your help

You manage accounts in Settings/General/Accounts, not in the app. Any account appearing in the phone's Google accounts will appear in GMail. Other email apps will allow you to delete accounts in them while still having the accounts as Google accounts.
