Looking at getting an android tablet and was looking to get an LTE/cell data capable device and was wondering if i should look somewhere other than my current carrier (verizon).

I thought T-mobile had a deal that gave you 200mb for free per month, but that's only if you have a current phone plan with them (that's how i understand it). Any company out there that does something similar?

I would also love to have pre-paid data that doesn't expire. I'd like to buy 5 gigs and then when that runs out, just buy 5 more kinda thing. I have an ipad with verizon now and their pre-paid data expires after 30 days.

    Thanks!

The best carrier is the one that gives you the best coverage in every place you need coverage. That's always the first consideration.

After you've decided that, if there's more than one carrier that gives you solid coverage wherever you need it, you can use other criteria like price, plans and phones to narrow it down.
