Why won't my Nexus S 4G charge?

For some reason my Nexus S 4G phone won't charge now.... But a couple of weeks ago it was charging but it would only charge if i had it in a certain angle...but now I get nothing, no indication that it's charging and it won't turn on. And it's frustrating because I am need of my phone for most of the day. I leftt alone for about a week now and then tried charging it again and I get the same results...please help!!!

Assuming that the wall socket is good, it could be a faulty charger, USB lead, phone USB port, battery, or other. You'll have to eliminate them one by one. That it used to charge when held at a particular angle suggests to me a faulty USB lead....but that's not much more than a guess.
