editing files on kitkat os SD cards?

New phone new phone formatted SD card class 10 64 gb.

Installed software and moved to SD

Created SD folder for mp3 player but couldn't for various office apps

Can not edit tags for SD card added mp3 files

Can not create or edit documents on SD card

What did I do wrongm

Welcome to Android Central! In KitKat, there are increased restrictions for app access to the SD card. An app needs to have specific permissions for SD access, and the app can typically only manipulate files in the folder it creates. People have claimed that they can edit SD card files if they do the following

Fresh phone OS
Fresh phone formatted SD Card
Fresh software install
Software to choose newly created folder on SD Card
Files newly written to chosen folder
MP3 files should be able to have tags edited

I can't edit edit using Rocket Player
I can't select new SD folder for documents with at least 4 office compatibles.

Are there any apps that allow SD card folder creation, storage and editing?

If there are what procedure would I follow?

The app that created the folder and put the files into it can edit the files. Other apps can't unless they're running under su. Plain old Linux 101.

The only change in KitKat is that the SD card is now treated the same as all other storage in the phone.

So tell me what office app can create an SD folder, write to and edit on the SD.

What procedure is required in the app installation, folder creation and file placement on the SD that will allow editing and saving to the SD folder?

What music player that can edit tags will work?

It appears Hancom Office pre-installed on the note 4 will write to the SD and can be edited and saved there. Is there an music player with tag editor that will also work on sd.
