My new Samsung Note 4 with a new EE Sim.
Orange PAC'd my original phone number over to my new phone.

When I dial customers they see my old (wanted) phone number .... this is good.

Checking in the Sam Note 4...... SETTINGS > ABOUT DEVICE > STATUS > MY PHONE NUMBER ............. the "original factory" EE phone number is shown ...... this is not so good.

    Tried removing battery Etc.
Phoned EE ... they are aware of the problem but say its "an android problem"

Only fix they think is to compleatly reset the phone?

Is there a more elegent solution? ............Thanks.

It might not even change with a reset. (It's been a LONG time since I changed a number on an Android phone, so I don't remember if it ever changed. I do remember that it kept the old number for a long time.) Flashing a ROM with repartitioning (and the SIM removed) might set the number the SIM is connected to when you put the SIM in and it makes its first connection.
