Still no way to change artist name of backed up songs!

Whenever I check the Details section of new songs I download, I see the edit option (the one that looks like a pencil or marker), but whenever I check the Details section of the old songs from the backup, it doesn't have any edit option! Why don't they have an edit option? Could this be because the songs are from a downloaded app that has been uninstalled?

It's because the edit option doesn't edit the metadata. Use iTag - Music Tag Editor for that.
