Android phone won't hold a charge!

My other android phone won't hold a charge...I charged it over a hour but it won't charge...When I plugged it in theres a lightning icon appear but a few minute it doesn't go up instead going down...Is it the battery has a problem or the USB charging had the problem...Please answer....

Welcome to the forums.

It could be the charger, the USB lead, the phone's USB port, the battery, or something else. I'm afraid you'll just have to eliminate them one by one.

That depends on the state of charge when you started. If it was almost completely discharged, it won't show any more charge in the first hour. Plug it in and leave it charging for 24 hours.

I'm guessing that the user has. You probably let the battery charge go down to almost nothing. You shouldn't let it get below 40%.
