My screen is blank, but phone is still ringing, ect. I need to extract a set of texts from the phone before I have the cash to replace the screen. Where are the texts located? Is it a file I can open on a PC? I cannot get my phone to usb debugging mode either. Any help would be so appreciated!

If USB debugging is off and the screen is dead, you can't get anything off the internal memory unless you have an HDMI adapter that doesn't require doing anything to the screen, and you can use a TV set as a screen.

Or you can find an independent shop with a "parted" screen for that phone (IOW, they got a phone that was in such bad shape that it didn't pay to repair it, but they saved the screen because it was still good) and are willing to plug it into your phone long enough for you to get the data off it. Then you can use SMS Backup & Restore to back up your texts. (Save the folder it creates on an SD card and you can restore those texts to any Android phone.)
