Is there a way to select specific notifications to inhibit / disable at night?

Selectively inhibit / disable notifications at night

I'd like to block notifications at night (between certain hours that I define). However I want this to be selective - blocking some and retaining others.

Specifically, I'd still like to receive audible call and sms notifications, but I don't want to receive any audible calendar notifications or audible notifications from any other apps.

Would appreciate recommendations on how to achieve this.

I use a Galaxy S4 in case it's relevant.

You can create a whitelist of I believe apps and contacts.
