On the left side of my AT&T Samsung Note 3, there is a darkening in the shape of a semi-circle. Does anyone else have this? What should I do?

I can't see anything in your screenshot, but it sounds like it might be damage caused to the screen by an overheating processor. Having said that I don't know where the processor is in the Note 3, so I could be wrong. Has your device been getting hot of late?

Or it could be a bad LED (which produces the light for the screen). In either case, you'd probably need a new screen. (Unless you have a screen protector on, and it's getting dirty on the left side?)

Here is a better picture. I don't know if I had battery overheating problems or not.

I'm afraid I still see nothing. I use also a Nokia Lumia 930, and I was thinking it might be a very slight effect of what is shown here, and in this case very badly:

What Belodion linked to is definitely a defective (probably physically broken inside) screen. If that's what yours looks like, in gray, on the entire left side, it's new screen time. (And please don't try replacing it yourself. Regardless of how easy it looks in the videos, most of those people have already done many screens, and probably broke a few phones learning how to do it. I found, when I owned my stores, that it took between 3 and 6 tries before a tech with no prior experience could replace a screen without causing a problem. Even pinching the wrong wire against a metal frame can blow a motherboard.)
