LG G2 on Metro PCS

Hello, I'm considering purchasing an unlocked, branded T-Mobile LG G2. I currently have Metro PCS as my carrier. Will this phone work on Metro's network? I did a quick compatibility check on their website for phones you can bring to the account, but, I didn't see it in their list of compatible phones. Should I just scrap the notion of getting this phone and consider another model? Thanks for any input.

Re: LG G2 on Metro PCS

MetroPCS uses T-Mobile's towers, so the phone will have the right frequencies in it. There's no reason it shouldn't work. (They probably either haven't updated the list in a while, or they missed that phone.) Make sure they accept it, though. While it can work technically, they may not allow it. (For instance, Verizon doesn't let you use a Verizon phone that's been on their prepaid service on any of their MVNOs.)
