    To install an app, you need sufficient space on internal storage. Even if the app will run from the SD card, and you have it set to install apps to the card, the initial download is to internal storage.

    (The SD card was never intended for running apps - it's for storing data. The fact that some apps can actually run from the card [many can't, even if they can be moved to it] is nice, but don't ever count on it when buying a phone or tablet. Get sufficient internal storage for your needs. Then if you can run a few apps from the card, you can extend the life of the device a little.)
