I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 that I just had the screen replaced for about 2 months ago. I have an otter case for it (the one with the screenprotector built in). The phone has been working perfectly until Saturday night when, for some reason, it wouldn't let me input the numbers to unlock the screen. The screen then went totally black. I looked up fixes and I ended up doing a hard reset. But even with that, the screen is still acting erratically. I checked and there are absolutely no scratches, dents, etc. It's a brand new screen, only 2 months old. The fact that when it is completely charged, the screen comes on and everything works, is making me think it's a software issue, maybe? There are parts on the screen that don't work while all other parts work. For example, when the dial pad shows up, I wouldn't be able to press the 2 button, but I can press the 5.

How can I figure out the problem and how do i fix it?

Oh yeah, and at times, the screen went green...but that has stopped happening...

    Thanks!

It's a defective screen. Have them replace the replacement.
