How do I keep my S5 screen active during a call?

s5 screen goes black

Hi my s5 screen goes black when I connect a call. It comes on when I push power button . How do I keep screen active during the call? Please help.

Welcome to Android Central! It sounds like a proximity sensor issue. Make sure the area around the proximity sensor (which is right near the front-facing camera) is clean and not obstructed by a case or dirty screen protector.
