I have a samsung s4. I was recording a meeting on my phone via the defualt s4 sound recording app.

Unfortunately my phone went off and the sound record has not been saved automatically.
Is there some way i can recover the file.

Welcome to Android Central! Use a file manager app and look for a directory called LOST.DIR, either on the SD card or the Internal Storage. "Broken" files might be found there--if you find a file that corresponds to the time you recorded the meeting, try renaming it and adding ".mp3" at the end, and see if it plays.
