I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Samsung Wallet Flip Cover. I have had the cover for about a week and whenever I have closed it the screen has always turned off and when I have opened it the screen has always turned on. However, just today that started not happening and the cover doesn't seem to be affecting the screen at all. I close it and the screen doesn't turn off and I open it and the screen doesn't turn on. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks for your help!

Welcome to Android Central! Does this persist after a reboot?

One possibility is that the magnet that is embedded in the flipcover (which triggers the smartcover sensor) got dislodged. Does any part of the cover seem damaged?
