my new LG-D320 is saying enter backup pin but I don't have one what do I do

I got a new LG-D320 and the screen reads enter backup pin I don't have one what do I do

Welcome to Android Central! How did you get to that screen? Is it asking for you to select a backup PIN for future use, or is it asking you to enter a PIN in order to unlock the phone?
