So I tried to download an app that had a massive file size and I forgot to check my remaining storage space. The download went to 80% and had a download error message and then the download quit. So I went to go through my storage to delete a few apps I didn't want, my available storage had gone from roughly 400mb to about 50mb. I just need to delete what ever information that the app downloaded. There seems to be no obvious solutions without a factory reset.

Welcome to Android Central! Use a file manager app (the stock one, if the phone came with it, or ES File Explorer), and look through your Internal Storage for any folders that look like they could be associated with that app. Look specifically for .obb files, since these are usually the big files ("obb" actually means "opaque binary blob," since they're often so huge). If you find an .obb file and you're sure it's associated with that failed installation, go ahead and delete it.
