Why won't my phone turn on after I removed my sim card?

My phone wont turn on after I removed my sim card

I have a GS3 and I took out my sim card and then i turned it on then the screen showed white lines and I freaked out so i removed the battery and I decided to put the sim card again and now it won't turn on. Please helpp

Maybe phone is defective or SIM card pull corrupted few phone parts

Unless you damaged something when you removed the SIM card (the phone was turned off, right?), removing the SIM card has nothing to do with why the phone won't turn on.
