movies disappear from extsdcard after download from pc. Loading onto card is no problem. when I go to check the movie files they are not there. Folders with name of movies is there but the folder is blank

Welcome to Android Central! How big are the files? There's a 4 GB filesize limit on FAT32-formatted SD cards.

How are you copying the files over? Via USB connection? It might work better to unmount the SD card from the phone (in Settings>Storage), remove it, and plug it directly into the computer. Then use Windows Explorer to copy the file directly to the SD card.

Sometimes, copying multiple files that take up a huge amount of space can cause problems, so copy each movie file individually.
