Notifications keep popping up in my notifications where Android is looking for my location. It will say FINDING LOCATION for a few seconds and then disappear. It happens constantly. When I catch it and touch the notification it will just display my home page.

Can anyone explain this? and tell me how to stop the notification?

Do you have anything on your phone that would need to keep frequent track of your location?
Also, what location reporting setting are you using, in Settings, Location?

It could be a widget with location activated. Do you have any widget like that?

When the notification appears expand the bar and press & hold on it. Tap on "app info".
