I have a Verizon LG G2 and there is a headphone problem where if the jack is plugged in and it gets touched at all the phone thinks the headphones are being removed or plugged back in. So It cuts off my music and I keep having to restart it. Now my question isn't so much how to fix it, I've called verizon and they said they would replace it for free if there isn't any major damage. I did drop it once when I first got it 3 1/2 months ago and it has a minor scuff/scratch on the bottom. Since then though it has been in an otterbox and no other damage. So how picky are they on warranty coverage?

I had Verizon replace a phone with a few minor scratches on the case. You can bring it into a company store, show them the scuff and ask if they think you'll have a problem.
