I have the htc one m8 unlocked version and didn't receive the update yet till nw

is there something wrong with my device or what ?I am from egypt and i have the unlocked edition of the m8 and i tried to force the update by google play framework method , i am afraid that this has done something wrong with the device

Your carrier sends the update. The carrier the phone was bought from. If you unlocked it and changed carriers, your new carrier won't update it. So you'll have to find an update file and update it manually.
