AC Question
followup: on why Nexus7 extremely slow to charge
re: systemofadown1 's post with that great photo.. just to add some extra info to your informative post, I pulled a friends nexus7 apart and found that the flat ribbon cable that plugs into the usb connector was tarnished.
The simple fix is to support the cable underneath with a wide flat "tool",
and gently rub the cable-conductors with a soft white rubber till they shine.
Reassemble making sure the black cable clamp is gently squeezed all the way back to firmly secure the ribbon cable in the "usb board".
This ribbon connector should really be gold plated to prevent tarnishing.
The ribbon-cable-clamp on the usb board doesn't grip the cable firmly enough(on this one anyway).
ps: sorry I couldn't reply to your post, registering here didn't work/too hard.
Richard.
