When I receive an email on my LG G2, my android makes no noise, so I don't know when emails arrive.

I miss not being notified when my emails come; I would like to know when they arrive.

Welcome to Android Central! First, go to Settings>Sound>Notifications, and make sure they're turned on, and the default notification tone actually makes a sound (sometimes there's a Silent tone that's available). Also, check to make sure Notification volume is turned up.

If that all looks good, then open your email app, tap Menu>Settings, and look for the notification options within the email app itself. It's possible to modify notifications for individual apps, so it's possible the notification tone was turned off only for the email app.
