Assign ringtone to contact

[AC Question]

I have been trying to assign ringtones to specific contacts on my Nexus 6. The support page for nexus says that I have to select the contact and touch the menu tab. But the pop down window doesn't give me the options that the page specifies.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you selecting the contact in the Contacts app or the Dialer app? Also, when you select the contact, make sure you select the Edit button first, then the Menu button.
