Replaced glass portion of S3 screen, now the touch doesn't work

A

AC Question

So I replaced the glass front of my Galaxy S3, (not the LCD or digitizer, just the glass) this morning without damaging the LCD. After putting the screen back on completely, the touchscreen doesn't work. The colors and pixels are all fine, it's receiving calls, msgs, and social media notifications etc with no issue, the touchscreen is literally the only issue. Any suggestions? I'm desperate lol

It's hard to say. A ribbon or connector may have been damaged during disassembly or reassembly. From what I understand, this is easy to do as those parts are delicate.

Or the digitizer may have been overheated. Or the glass may have been underheated, damaging the digitizer when the glass was removed. Or both in different areas. Or you might have cleaned the edges of the screen too vigorously, damaging the digitizer.
