Galaxy s3 Battery problems

My galaxy s3 charges, but when i turn it on it goes from 80 to 50 , and then 3% in minutes, i'm pretty sure the battery is done, but the real problem is, it works fine if i don't open any apps, when i open one, the screen goes blurry for a couple of seconds, and then shuts off.. even while plugged in. Would it maybe be the phone ?

thanks!

Re: Galaxy s3 Battery problems

Hmmmmm....when you open an app the processor is set to work, which draws more charge from the battery, which may then trigger whatever fault may be in the battery. Plausible?

Re: Galaxy s3 Battery problems

It depends on the charger. If you're using the original 2 Amp charger, you should be able to remove the battery, plug in the charger and run the phone with no problem. If you can, the battery is VERY shot. If you can't, the phone has a problem.
