Why is the camera on my phone freezing yet it still works?

Camera on phone Freezes yet still works

Hi there! I am a newbie at this. My HTC DNR works well except just the other day when I go to take a picture the screen freezes on whatever the camera is pointing at when I hit the camera icon. It takes the pic but i have to guess at the actual outcome. I can see it ok when i hit the viewing icon. I just cannot aim and shoot like a normal camera. Any Suggestions??

Welcome to Android Central! I assume you have an HTC Droid DNA, right? Try going to Settings>Apps>All, select Camera, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now try again.
