Why aren't my sent emails from my tablet reaching their destination?

sent emails from my tablet do not reach their destination

I send / receive emails normally using my desk top using Microsoft 7. These are ntlworld /gmail and Hotmail addresses. I also use an android tablet which receives emails to all our family address lines but when I try to send either a new mail or a reply they never reach their destination albeit the tablet indicates them to have been sent.

Welcome to Android Central! I assume you're using the stock Email app. Check the email account's server settings to make sure the outgoing SMTP server's name and settings are correct. You'll have to do a Google search to find that out from your email provider. For example, for Hotmail, search for "hotmail imap settings" or "hotmail pop3 settings." (IMAP is preferable.)
