I opened the camera app and tapped on anything that resembled settings. There is no setting for resolution. Image size < 3mb is the only setting and cannot be changes. When I transfer pics to my mac, they are 28"x23" ridiculous. Any other suggestions that the one to change resolution because I cannot find it.

Welcome to Android Central! There may not be a setting for that. You could try installing a 3rd party camera app like VSCO Cam or Camera Zoom FX.

A photo taken by a 3 megapixel camera (which is what your Centura has) should still be easily viewable on your computer. On any photo viewing app, there should be a zoom setting that will allow you to zoom in or out, or fit the photo to the screen.
