cant access voicemail, think i am using right password but perhaps not, what to do

read how to do a hard reset but rather not loose all my info,,,,how can I verify my password

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone, and which carrier? Are you only unable to access the voicemail using your cellphone? How about from a landline--does your carrier allow you to access the voicemail from there? If so, then try entering the password there. If you're still not getting through, contact your carrier. The actual voicemail password isn't set using the cellphone--it's set in the carrier's system.
